TROPICAL CHOCOLATE

INGREDIENTS:WEB Hot Drink 029

2 oz. Half & Half

1 oz. Heavy Whipping Cream

2 cups  Chocolate Powder or a chunk of Belgian Dark Chocolate

1 1/5 oz. Mango Rum

1 Scoop of Homemade Cinnamon Whipped Cream

WHIPPED CREAM

1/2 cup Heavy Cream

2 tbsp. Cinnamon Sugar

GARNISH :

1 Cinnamon Stick

1 Dried Mango

 

PREPARATION :

To make your Cinnamon Whipped Cream you will need to beat the  heavy cream and cinnamon sugar in a medium bowl with an electric mixer on high speed until it stiff peaks.

Take a pot and heat up the half & half and the heavy whipping cream. Right before it starts to boil you will add the chocolate and let it melt. Make sure you add the chocolate a little at a time according to how rich you like your hot chocolate.

Take the mixture off of the fire and add the Mango Rum.

Now pour the winter potion in a cup and if you really have a sweet tooth add a scoop or two of your Home-made cinnamon Whipped cream  and to finish,  garnish with a cinnamon stick and dried mango.

The color is creamy dark brown and to the nose the warm, rich scent of the chocolate dances perfectly with the rum and with the flowery notes of the mango… it creates magic right before your senses. The chilled whipped cream is the perfect compliment and adds just the right consistency to the drink and the sweet cinnamon is the last flavor lingering… now all you need is a great movie and a cozy blanket!
